COMBINED ROLL GRINDING AND FLUTING MACHINE

• A substantial cast iron bed forms a rigid base upon which the table travels. The machine bed is provided with a levelling device.
• The grinding and fluting head is mounted at a convenient height on a base bolted to the machine bed. The head can be easily changed from the grinding to the fluting position.

WORKING

• The roll is installed in the adjustable back rest and linked to the roll drive coupling. The useful length of travel of the table is limited by the adjustable stops, which at the time automatically reverse the table.
• The cutting toll is fastened to the rigid support and is fed to the roll. Two cutting tools can be used at a time.
• The turning movement from one flute to the next is effected automatically by the carriage movement and pitching mechanism.
• Individual drives for roll, grinding wheel, hydraulic pump and coolant pump with complete electrical equipment and panel board.
• Specially designed grinding head, spindle consists of 4 heavy duty ball bearings (2 on each side of the grinding wheel) to ensure very precise work.
